Additional AVS (Address Verification System) fee on approved transactions
utilizing AVS.
AVS is accessing the domestic database to verify the billing address that was entered for the transaction
is the same the issuing bank has posted. Currently, the system will authorize the card even if the billing
address is not a match, but it will tell you via a code of the type of match. ie. address matches, zip does
not or neither address and zip code match. It is up to your discretion if you want the sale to go through. |
